P&W Painting Contractors, a Toledo, Ohio-based company, is facing its second set of federal fines in two years for exposing employees to falls that could lead to injury or death.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is proposing $40,040 in fines against the company for nine violations, according to a Tuesday press release. One citation is for a repeat code violation, which carries a heavier fine than other types of penalties.
