Employers to Assume Responsibility for Provider Witness Fees in October

Self-insured employers, insurance carriers and the state’s second injury fund will be required to reimburse witnesses testifying at their request starting Oct. 1, the Industrial Commission of Arizona announced Tuesday. The ICA said it updated the reimbursement process for witness fees based on stakeholder feedback during the process of updating the Physicians’ and Pharmaceutical Fee Schedule.
