With a July 1 deadline looming, only 56% of active utilization review organizations in California’s workers’ comp system had obtained URAC accreditation as required under Senate Bill 1160.
As of Friday, 35 out of 62 active UR organizations had received accreditation from URAC, according to figures provided by the Division of Workers’ Compensation.
