An Ohio appellate court upheld a jury verdict allowing a mechanic to receive benefits for a right shoulder condition that was causally related to a prior compensable left shoulder injury. Michael R. Shields worked as a mechanic for the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority. Shields suffered a left shoulder injury at work in May 2015, and he received workers’ compensation benefits.
