No Wage Loss Necessary for Worker to Get Wage-Differential Award

The Illinois Appellate Court on Friday ruled that a permanently partially disabled worker who suffered no post-accident reduction in income could still qualify for a wage-differential award to account for her lost earning capacity. Wage-differential awards are one of the two forms of PPD compensation provided by the Illinois Workers' Compensation Act.
