Report cards issued by the Texas Workers' Compensation Division last week show improved performance by the state's health care networks, but some networks still rank behind non-network care in terms of patient satisfaction and costs.
The Coventry health network and two separate networks affiliated with the company, First Health and Chartis, were among the report card’s lowest performers in terms of cost. Though the report denotes Chartis by that name throughout, it also notes that Chartis is now known as AIG Texas Health Care Network.
