A Santa Clarita contractor was arraigned Friday on 21 felony counts including forgery and workers’ compensation fraud for allegedly creating false certificates to secure jobs and underreporting payroll by more than $425,000, the California Department of Insurance announced.
Adam Deniz, 43, is accused of creating 10 fraudulent insurance certificates that he allegedly used to show clients he had coverage.
