Tim O'Grady Joins Safety National's Large Casualty Unit as Underwriting VP

Safety National on Monday announced that Tim O’Grady joined the company as vice president of underwriting in the company’s large casualty division, which is responsible for large deductible workers’ compensation, commercial auto and commercial general liability coverage distribution.

O’Grady brings nearly 30 years of industry experience and an extensive large account underwriting background to Safety National, the company said. He has previously served in various underwriting leadership positions managing regional underwriting teams for several lines of coverage, including large casualty, umbrella and multinational, at some of the largest national insurance providers.

In his new capacity with Safety National, O’Grady will be responsible for leading large casualty underwriting for the southwest region and Colorado through oversight of Safety National’s office in Dallas. In addition, he will directly manage Safety National’s large casualty presence in Florida, Alabama and Mississippi.

O’Grady will be based out of Safety National’s Alpharetta, Georgia office.
