A pair of bills that proposed massive changes to Nevada's workers' compensation system died after missing a key legislative deadline, but measures that would make it harder for injured workers to rebut the presumption that intoxication was the cause of their injuries and limit physician dispensing are moving forward with broad support.
And while no bill is really dead until the legislative session ends, observers expect the consensus surrounding measures passed ahead of the April 11 cutoff date will prevent them from being used to resurrect the proposals that didn't meet that dead...
