Contractor Accused of Taking $127K in Benefits While Running Company

The Washington State Department of Labor and Industries announced that a contractor in Clark County was charged with stealing $127,000 in workers’ compensation benefits for allegedly working at his own construction business while claiming he was too injured to work. Daniel J. Lesieur, 54, pleaded not guilty to one count of first-degree theft in Clark County Superior Court on Tuesday.
