New Electronic Billing System Could Help but May Mean More Work for Doctors

A year after it shelved an internet portal that was supposed to make it easier for medical providers to submit billing information, the New York Workers' Compensation Board is moving ahead with what some say will bring a more efficient process but which could also create more work and more legal questions for doctors.
