The North American Spine Foundation is adamant: It will reduce spine-related disability – the root of some of the most complex and costly workers’ compensation cases – by 10% across the country by 2025.
The issue is how to do it – whether by reducing unnecessary care for patients with spine injuries, focusing more on effective treatments, preventing the injuries that lead to disability in the first place or some combination of those things.
