The State of Oregon has not collected any fines from employers cited for violating COVID-19 safety rules, according to local media reports.
Oregon Occupational Safety and Health officials have issued at least 20 citations for “flagrantly violating COVID-19 safety restrictions” since March 2020, but the agency hadn’t collected any of the money as of Monday, The Bend Bulletin reported.
The citations were doled out to 15 businesses for a total of more than $400,000.
