Bills Address Compensability for Different Injuries, Conditions

Bills before New York lawmakers during the 2022 legislative session would define exposure to COVID-19 as an occupational disease and declare that the exclusive remedy of workers’ compensation doesn’t apply to injuries sustained during a sexual assault resulting from an employer’s negligent acts.
