State Board of Workers' Comp to Offer Adjuster Training

The Georgia State Board of Workers’ Compensation is hosting a training course Aug. 30 offering 10 hours of continuing education credits for workers’ compensation adjusters.  The in-person program will cover topics including an introduction and overview of the history of workers’ compensation, the proper steps for calculating indemnity benefits as well as rules for starting and suspending payments, and standards for ethical claims handling.
