Gov. Jerry Brown, who leaves office on Monday, has appointed an Oakland defense attorney as a commissioner on the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board and reappointed three members of the state’s labor-management advisory panel.
Brown appointed 48-year-old Craig L. Snellings to the WCAB. The position pays $153,689 annually.
The appointment fills out all seven positions on the WCAB. The panel had only four members until Brown appointed Juan Pedro Gaffney in June and Katherine Dodd in August.
