Farmers Lawyer Appointed to WCAB

Gov. Jerry Brown, who leaves office on Monday, has appointed an Oakland defense attorney as a commissioner on the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board and reappointed three members of the state’s labor-management advisory panel.  Brown appointed 48-year-old Craig L. Snellings to the WCAB. The position pays $153,689 annually. The appointment fills out all seven positions on the WCAB.
