California’s 4th District Court of Appeal refused to throw out a 69-count grand jury indictment accusing a chiropractor of illegally running a law practice, laundering money and defrauding workers' compensation insurers. The 4th DCA published a decision Tuesday saying there was nothing wrong with the Riverside County criminal grand jury’s decision to aggregate multiple allegations of submitting fraudulent claims for payment into a single count.
