Feds Ask to Merge Restitution Hearings in Pacific Hospital Cases

Federal prosecutors are asking a judge to schedule concurrent restitution hearings for Michael D. Drobot, his son and a former chief financial officer who oversaw the spinal surgery kickback scheme at Pacific Hospital of Long Beach alleged to have bilked California workers’ compensation carriers out of more than $500 million.
