Furniture Plant Shooting Leads to Wrongful Death Lawsuit

A wholesale business and a married couple are named as defendants in a wrongful death lawsuit filed by the family of a woman who was shot to death at a Hickory, North Carolina, furniture plant in January 2021. Charlotte CBS affiliate WBTV reports that the suit targets TCS Designs Inc. and Tangela and Eric Parker for the workplace shooting death of Michelle Marlow. Tangela Parker is also criminally accused of killing Marlow, and her husband, Eric, is accused of helping her elude authorities for six months before they were picked up in Arizona.
