Texas Goes its Own Way, Rejects NCCI's Audit Noncompliance Penalty

The National Council on Compensation Insurance says 35 states have adopted its proposal to establish a penalty for employers that refuse to comply with payroll audits, but regulators in the Lone Star State say the proposal is "not reasonable for Texas."
