The National Council on Compensation Insurance projects changes to Nevada's Medical Fee Schedule that will increase payments for ambulatory surgical centers and hospitals, establish maximum reimbursement for dental procedures and increase system costs by about 0.4%, or $2 million, next year.
Most of the increase will come as a result of the proposal to increase reimbursement rates by 50% for four hospital procedures and increase the maximum payment for a fifth procedure by 63.4%.
