It took almost a year, but the squeaky wheels found the grease they were hoping for after the Texas Division of Workers’ Compensation revised rules to relax and clarify enforcement actions against insurers.
The division announced this week that it had adopted a final version of the rules after striking language that would have required parties in enforcement actions to acknowledge that the DWC had acted “appropriately."
