Commissioners from the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board said Friday they were committed to reducing a years-old case backlog, and they urged parties with current cases to consider settling during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The commissioners spoke on a special panel during the second day of the California Applicants’ Attorneys Association’s annual conference, which was moved to a digital realm and rebranded as a “Virtual Summer Convention” because of the virus outbreak.
