A nursing assistant in Bakersfield faces 24 charges related to workers’ compensation fraud after she allegedly lied to investigators about her injury, according to court records and media reports.
Ava McLean, 32, has pleaded not guilty to all charges, including providing false insurance information, hiding facts of insurance entitlement benefits and presenting a false claim, according to Kern County Superior Court records.
