CNA Financial has reported a net income of $241 million for the fourth quarter of 2016, reversing a $70 million loss seen in the same quarter of 2015.
For the full year 2016, net income was $859 million, up 79% from $479 million in 2015.
Property and casualty net premiums written were $1.525 billion in the fourth quarter, down 3.8% from $1.585 billion in the prior-year quarter.
