Facts: Laszlo Venter worked for L&T Finishing Inc. as a painter. Michael and Betsy Cherkasky hired L&T to paint and re-finish cabinets and a kitchen island at their home.
Venter sustained injuries when an explosion occurred while he was applying lacquer thinner to remove paint from the kitchen island.
