Sheriff's Office Sting Catches 8 Allegedly Uninsured Contractors

The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of eight Florida contractors who were allegedly operating without a license or workers’ compensation insurance. The Sheriff’s Office said it conducted a joint sting with the Florida Department of Financial Services, Department of Business and Professional Regulation and the National Insurance Crime Bureau to identify contractors working without required licenses or insurance coverage.
