A New York appellate court upheld a finding that a worker had a 90% permanent partial disability, not a total disability. Case: Matter of Brickner v Medtronic Inc., No. CV-24-1036, 09/11/2025, published. Facts and procedural history: Donna Brickner worked for Medtronic Inc. She established a workers’ compensation claim for an exacerbation of a prior lower-back injury in 2019.
