Figuring Current Charges 1st Step in Drafting Fee Schedule

Connecticut Workers' Compensation Commission Chairman John Mastropietro said Friday that the first step toward drafting a hospital fee schedule will be to figure out what employers and insurers are paying hospitals now. The Connecticut state Senate on Wednesday gave final legislative approval to a bill directing the commission to adopt a hospital fee schedule based on Medicare rates by Jan. 1, 2015.
