Use of Naloxone is Topic of Webinar

Optum’s workers’ compensation division has scheduled a webinar for Jan. 19 on the use of naloxone for treating opioid overdose. The free, one-hour webinar will begin at 11 a.m. Pacific time. The webinar will detail how naloxone works, its dosage forms and its use in workers’ compensation. Rules and regulations regarding the medication's availability and use will be discussed.
