The Occupational Safety and Health Administration imposed penalties of $88,423 on a Pennsylvania plastics recycling processor for permitting the development of a workplace hazard.
Acting on a referral from a local code enforcement agency, OSHA inspectors in September 2021 discovered that PGA Inc., a company in Freeland, allowed dangerous levels of combustible dust to build up near electrical equipment, exposing workers to danger.
