The Actuarial Committee of the Workers’ Compensation Insurance Rating Bureau of California will review the impact of the economic slowdown on pure premium rate indications, among other things, during a meeting Tuesday.
Committee members will also discuss the impact the pandemic had on 2020 claim development, a review of COVID-19 claim diagnostics and COVID-19 claim cost projections for the Sept. 1 rate filing.
The Actuarial Committee will also review insurer experience through the end of 2020 during the meeting.
