DWC Adopts EDI Rule Changes

The Texas Division of Workers’ Compensation adopted rules to update its electronic data interchange standards. The division on Wednesday announced that it will implement EDI release 3.1.4, effective July 23, 2023. The DWC has required carriers to file injury reports using the International Association of Industrial Accident Boards and Commissions claims EDI release 1.0, which is no longer supported.
