Oxnard resident Ernestina Rodriguez will serve time behind bars and probation for three years after pleading guilty to making a false statement to obtain workers' compensation benefits, according to a statement from Ventura County District Attorney Gregory D. Totten.
“She had previously made restitution in full to the victim, Zenith Insurance Co., in the amount of $9,333.50 and will serve 150 days in the Ventura County jail as a condition of probation,” prosecutors said in the statement.
