The Workers Compensation Research Institute is holding a free webinar Sept. 25 to cover its CompScope Benchmarks for Florida report and other recent research.
WCRI in May reported that wage growth drove increases in claim costs in 2022 and 2023, and medical costs were stable in those years, with injured workers using fewer services because of the pandemic.
Florida ranked in the middle of the 18 states included in the study for medical payments, indemnity benefits and benefit delivery costs per claim, WCRI said.
