WCD Sets Claims Processing Factor for 2025 at 18.66%

The Oregon Workers’ Compensation Division announced that the claims processing administrative cost factor for 2025 is 18.66%, up from the 18.61% factor used in 2024. The factor is used to calculate reimbursement for carriers and self-insured employers that made supplemental disability benefit payments to a preferred worker. Employers that create positions to accommodate restrictions placed on injured workers can receive premium exemptions, wage subsidies and grants under the preferred worker program.
