DWC Updates Seasonal Worker Coverage Requirement

The Texas Division of Workers’ Compensation increased the gross annual payroll requirements for coverage of seasonal workers for next year. The amount for 2022 will be $60,726, an increase of 2.8% from $59,027. Seasonal workers for agricultural company owners with annual gross payrolls of at least $60,726 will be considered employees covered by the Texas Workers' Compensation Act.
