Health care workers make up nearly two-thirds of all COVID-related workers' compensation claims, and they have filed more than nine times as many claims as any other group, according to a new study.
The study, released by insurance software developer Mitchell International, states that essential industries such as health care, trucking and warehousing have seen increases in comp claims since the COVID-19 pandemic began earlier this year, while other sectors have seen a decline.
