NCCI: First-Responder Bills Dominated 2018 Sessions

Out of hundreds of pieces of workers’ comp-related legislation considered this year, about one in eight bills pertained to first responders, according to the National Council on Compensation Insurance. NCCI said in a report released Monday that it tracked about 814 state or federal bills this year related to workers’ comp. And of those, first responders were the subject of 103.
