As interest grows in biopsychosocial approaches to managing chronic pain, there’s now an app that introduces techniques such as mindfulness to patients with painful conditions.
Called Curable, the app provides users with pain education and evidence-based therapies, including guided meditation, visualization, cognitive behavioral therapy techniques and expressive writing. A virtual coach, named Clara, guides users to particular lessons and exercises.
