Bill to Prohibit Use of Experience Modifiers in Construction Contracts Passes

Texas lawmakers recently passed a bill that would prohibit the use of workers’ compensation experience modifiers when awarding public construction contracts. The Senate on Wednesday passed a committee substitute version of House Bill 679, by Rep. Keith Bell, R-Forney.
