Houston Clinic Owner Sentenced to Two Years for Comp Scheme

The owner of a medical clinic in Houston on Thursday was sentenced to two years in federal prison for her conviction a kickback and money laundering scheme, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for Southern Texas announced. Anurag Dass, also known as Anna Dass, was also ordered to pay $2.24 million in restitution. Dass, 49, pleaded guilty to kickbacks and money laundering in August 2019.
