Legislature Endorses Bill That Requires Faster Payment of Benefits

The Indiana legislature has approved a bill that guarantees faster payment of benefits and sets a new method of determining compensation for vision loss. Senate Bill 269 passed the House on Monday by a vote of 95-0, a month after it passed the Senate 50-0. Authored by Sen. Jon Ford, R-Terre Haute, the bill would require employers or insurers to file a report showing benefits have been paid.
