The Texas Division of Workers’ Compensation announced that carriers, self-insured employers and self-insured employer groups will be charged more than $825,000 for the first year of electronic data collection.
The division in March adopted Electronic Data Interchange release 3.1.4 and subsequently designated Insurance Services Office, a subsidiary of Verisk Analytics, as its data collection agent. Insurance Services Office will bill carriers and self-insureds to cover the data collection costs.
