California lawmakers needed nearly every minute of the 2015 legislative session to pass a bill that would require the Division of Workers' Compensation to implement a prescription drug formulary in less than two years.
Assembly Bill 1124, by Assemblyman Henry Perea, D-Fresno, would require the DWC implement a formulary by July 1, 2017. Once in place, the formulary would have to be updated at least four times under the terms of the bill.
