Claims for COVID-19 fell to 1,430 in September from 6,706 in August, according to the latest report from the Florida Division of Workers’ Compensation.
The division reports that a total of 57,888 COVID-19 claims have been filed since the pandemic started.
According to the report, employers have paid $57.5 million in benefits on 45,508 closed claims and another $78.9 million on 12,380 claims that remain open.
