ICA Hears Arguments on Comp Coverage for COVID-19

The West Virginia Intermediate Court of Appeals on Tuesday heard oral arguments in two cases that could determine whether COVID-19 is a compensable disease. In one case, PrimeCare Medical of West Virginia is asking the appeals court to set aside a Workers’ Compensation Board of Review decision awarding benefits to a nurse who contracted COVID-19.
