A subcommittee of Oregon’s Management-Labor Advisory Committee canceled a meeting scheduled for Friday to discuss Senate Bill 489.
The measure, by Sen. Kathleen Taylor, D-Milwaukie, would eliminate a statutory prohibition on retroactive authorization of temporary disability benefits and would also prevent carriers or self-insured employers from taking a credit or offset against any work comp benefits for overpayments made more two years ago.
