Owner of Construction Firm Sentenced to Two Years for Fraud

Federal prosecutors announced that the owner of a company providing construction services and labor who “used a shell of lies” to evade tax obligations and workers’ compensation expenses was sentenced to two years in federal prison for fraud. Ricky Gonzalez was also ordered to forfeit more than $500,000, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Florida announced.
