Temporary total disability benefits and permanent total disability benefits will increase by 4.3774% in 2021 because of an increase in the state’s average weekly wage, the California Workers’ Compensation Institute announced.
The maximum weekly benefit will increase to $1,356.31 from $1,299.43, CWCI said. Minimum benefits are also tied to changes in the state’s average weekly wage and will increase to $203.44 per week from $194.91.
